Chapter 3 Questions

1.David feels like a traitor because he expose the family’s secret.
2.Ms. Gold try to explain to David that the judge would decide if David would become a ward of the court or if he would return to his mom’s house.
3.When he walked into court he saw mother and the boys waiting on one of the benches and Ron had a cast on his leg.
4.Ms. Gold would like for David to tell the judge the truth.
5.David wrote a letter to his mom.
6.The letter say that he was sorry and that he didn’t mean to tell the family’s secret and to hurt the family. And he ask for forgiveness.
7.He said sorry for all the trouble he has caused her.
8.I think mom didn’t say anything because she knew that this time she couldn’t cover up all those years of abusing and neglecting her son David.
9.He has so much trouble because of part of him doesn’t want to hurt his mom and his family. Then again he didn’t want to caused any pain to Ms. Gold who had been so nice to him.
10.The judge ask him if he believes his home setting is undesirable he may become a ward of the court or he can return to his mom’s house.
11.David blurted out to the judge that he wanted to live with him and that he was sorry and that he didn’t mean to tell the secret.
12.The perfume Ms. Gold wore and when he imagined himself playing outside, laughing with the other children , playing basketball and running through Mary’s house where the significant things that made David realize he didn’t want to live with mom.
13.Mother told him to be a good boy , she will miss him, and to have a happy life. She gave him new clothes and toys. She hug him and told him bye.
14.When David waved good bye only his mother return the gesture.
15.I think mom’s reaction was pretty impressive and honestly I didn’t expect it because I thought she would be mad that she lost the case and didn’t get David back.
