chapter 4 questions

1.David realize that his mom couldn’t physically harmed him no more.
2.David was now living with Lilian Catanze, his new foster mom.
3.David is adjusting ok, he feels hollow sometimes though.
4.David stop caring about his school things and lost interest in learning.
5.I think his older brother meant that they were different from the kinds that have their real parents when he said our “our kind”. He was warning him about other kids not accepting him because he’s a foster kid.
6.David didn’t care that the bigger boys were using him because he felt like he belong in a group.
7.In the month of July, David was place on his first foster home.
8.His new foster mother’s name was Lilian Catanze.
9.Ms. Gold was talking about David’s mom and his two brothers.
10.Ms. Gold meant that he steals stuff.
11.The rules of the house were that he was responsible for keeping his room clean and helping out with the chores. He was not to enter someone else’s room without their permission first. There was no lying or stealing in the house. If he wanted to go somewhere , to ask her for permission.
12.His new parents seem nice and that they like children a lot. Some of the other foster kids are disrespectful and some are nice. The family is big and has a variety of different kids.
13.David feels hollow because is not the same as when you are with your own family and people you love.
14.Larry Jr. told David that he was a wimp for letting his mom beat him up and for him not fighting back.
15.Mom’s attitude at first was kind then it was relaxed.
16.David is trying to earn money so he can fix his bike.
17.David finally feels like a normal kid when he is riding around in his bike.
18.He felt like he nearly coughed up his food when he opened the door because at the front door was his mom.
